Shared w/ sckressler.
The appearance was okay with miniscule head. A deep orange color with plenty of carbonation going onLeaves scatterings of lace throughout as this brew goes down. Some yeast and sedimant are lingering at the bottom of the glass. The smell of the Belgian candi sugar and spices are aromating from the glass.
Tastes pretty darn good, as this has a full body with perfect carbonation. Surely a Belgian style w/ lots of that sugar and spice going on within the elixer. Feels great after the sip as it lingers throughout my mouth with a bit of sweetness and alcohol burn slightly around my tounge. Don't expect to get down more than one of these mothers during a sitting but it's a good one to split with a pal.
Finger licking good!

This was deceptively strong.
It pours a clear golden color. There’s a light aroma with a bit of an estery aroma to it. I found it sweetly flavored with an orange blossom characteristic shining through. I had enjoyed it thoroughly, felt it afterwards!

On tap at the Blind Lady Alehouse on the 4th of July in San Diego.
Appearance: Excellent clarity in the amber body. Small but semi-durable white head. Head leaves some sticky streaks and spots on the glass.
Aroma: Sweet biscuits, yeast and faint tropical notes.
Flavor: Fruity, slightly tart, mildly bitter. Banana and clove evident, as is the higher ABV. Seemed to have a narrow tempeature range for optimal flavor and balance. Moderate complexity. Relatively good finish and aftertaste.
Feel: Light-medium body with medium+ carbonation. ABV mostly evident.
O: true Belgian style and quality.
