2010 vintage. Poured from a 750ml bottle into a Pipeworks snifter.

A- pours a hazy honey color with a 2" frothy white head. Thick wall lacing that resides quickly.

S- very sweet honey and fruits, lemon, coriander and other spices.

T- sweet honey, lemon and oranges, coriander and spices, and some bitter citrus zest.

M- medium body and carbonation. Fairly effervescent and crisp.

O- very nice beer, more sweet than most Belgian pales but still has some crisp bitterness to it.

S-tropical fruit, green apple, honey
T-more tropical fruit and sweet honey, hops providing a nice balance to the sweetness and a delicate spiciness
M-medium full while still maintaining a "lightness". hides abv very well
O-outstanding representation of the style. Well crafted and delicious, can't have too much in one sitting though

Picked this up at my spot - Bradley's Liquor in Tustin, CA.

Yeeep! If Raul wasn't Horny before drinking this thang, he sure was horny as hell after!

Beautiful, rich, golden ale color. Warm, delicate, frothy head. And the taste, the flavors...BOOM! Sleek, silky, and sexy Belgium Golden Ale flavors with an added (yet subtle) wallop of spices (including coriander).

No floozy, nothing big going on for Raul at the moment, malaise is at an all time high... but during the hour or so when Raul polished off this bad boi, he was feeling' it.

Props to AleSmith!

Paid the price on this one dropped a 10 spot on a 750ml

A - 11% pale ale so I expected little head just a slight lace ring with decent lacing. Color is a bright hazy yellow similar to a pineapple juice.

S - Big fruit and bubble gum notes and spicy coriander are detected. Maybe some banana and clove too. Smells like a boozed up triple with ABV heavy on the nose.

T - Ah much smoother than the initial smell. ABV is well integrated with fruity yeasts, spicy clove/coriander and some hops do make their way into the finish. The only note of the ABV is a touch of booze taste in the finish but no actual burn.

M - Medium to heavy in body, kind of bubbly even though I don't see much carbonation. A sure fire sipper.

Overall I am impressed the smell was kind of boozy and off-putting but they pulled it off well with the taste. I will keep an eye out for any releases that are affordable like this.

Poured in to oversized snifter.

A - slightly cloudy translucent yellow with half a finger of bubbly off-white head that quickly reduced to a few scattered bubbles along the top of the glass.

S - Belgian yeast, cloves, candy sugar. Lighter banana notes and spice.

T - Belgian yeast, cloves and banana with candy sugar. Some spice, coriander, fruit and a peppery finish. The ABV is extremely well hidden.

M - Medium body, somewhat creamy. Light carbonation.

A: The beer is slightly hazy golden yellow in color. Although it has a light amount of visible carbonation, the beer poured with a massive three finger high bright white head that has excellent retention properties.
S: The smell has light to moderate aromas of yeast in the nose along with some hints of candi sugar.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has hints of pale malts and peppery spices along with a slight amount of bitterness. No traces of alcohol are perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and rather dry on the palate with a high amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be overly carbonated however the bubbly nature makes this beer especially easy to drink considering its strength.

Poured this beer nicely chilled into a tulip.

The appearance was a nice light golden color with good carbonation and visible yeast in the bottom.

It had a very nice spicey and fruity nose.

Beer tasted graet I had cellered it for 4 months after I got it. The criander gives the beer and interesting spice quality that had me coming back for more drinks. The yeast tasted great in this beer. That fruit yeast character mixed with the intense spice was superb.

Pours beautiful clear light golden with small quickly receding head. Bubbles like champagne and they keep coming up from the bottom. Smell of coriander, honey, apples and pears. A little funk. Fruity flavor Very effervescent. Flavors follow the smell exactly, with some extra sweetness. Less dry than I expected from the aroma. Clean finish and light mouthfeel. Very nice. I liked this a lot.
