Dark burgandy appearance. Very slight head recedes to almost nothing as a collar. This Grand Cru has a nice, thick aroma. It's dark fruits (cherry, plum), burnt molasses, raisin, bread pudding, alcohol and port. Nice. The mouthfeel is lightly carbonated. Body is about medium. This beer packs a punch with its flavor. The big everclear soaked melon and dark fruit characteristic is dominant. The alcohol isn't too heavy, but it's fucking there. It's got the fig and date thing going on. Nuances of port. Bready and doughy yeast tones. Nice flavor.
A Big ol Grand Cru thanks to the Grandest of BeachBums.
