Speedway Stout pours great for a three finger dark tan head, and a jet black opaque body.
Fragrance is roasty coffee, semisweet chocolate and metallic characteristics.
In the taste, semisweet chocolate is the dominate trait. The coffee doesn't really kick in until the very end. Even then, the coffee addition is kick ass, and goes for a great finish.
This feels very creamy, and has a mild slickness. Alcohol warmness is slightly notable, and is kind of masked; however, this is still a warming beer.
What with all the complexity, how can this beer be wrong? It's a desert in a bottle!
