From a bomber with a black and white lable. Paid 11.99 USD.
Pours a black oil like consistancy. Leaves a thin head that is dirty brown. Some brown around the edges in the beer are noted.
Smells up front of dark chocolates, raisons, grapes, espresso. Other smells are chocolate mousses, yiesty smells, peppery spice, and dark molassis.
Tastes just like the smells. The surprise is the unexpected bitterness in the aftertaste. ( not a bad thing at all) Also reminds me of chocolate covered espresso beans.
Mouthfeel is oil coating like. With fine carbonation.
This stout lives up to it's reputation. What a great smell it omits every time you put your sniffer in the snifter.
