I had this on tap at the old Liar's Club on Mission. Thought this was just another name for their regular Anvil ESB. Pours clear, darker copper with a frothy, off-white head. Caramel malt and sour mash in the nose. Starts off sweet with the expected malt and caramel up front, with some bitterness in the middle, and a hint of sweeter hops in the finish. Enjoyable, a bit heavy in the mouthfeel, but not enough to spoil your afternoon.

10 ounce serving from Liars Club in San Diego
Pour was medium brown with a silky white head that disappeared fast
Smell was full of oranges and malt
Sweet for an ESB and dry fruity bitter finish
Only three dollars for a pint and I think my glass was two bucks good deal
Hard to drink a lot of these, barely got through my glass
