A: Poured with a medium amount of heat behind it the beer created a big 3 and a half finger head in the teku glass that sustained for days. Bright white and dense foam that sat on top for a good couple of minutes before i could top off the glass. Lacing is thick and chunky. The liquid portion is a hazy marmalade orange color with no sediment what so ever.

S: Oh man does this thing have a nose on it. Grapefruit is very strong and bright, moderate tropical fruit hop aroma comes though in the background and some dank pine notes that bring it all together. No yeast esters detected, but a tick of alcohol. Malt is kind of a muffled fresh bread note.

T: Firm and flavorfull grapefuit hop bitterness that follows you through till the end. Pine is in there but not as much as the aroma would indicate. A toasty malt character emerges when the beer is chewed but otherwise very subtle. There are also some troppical fruit flavors coming though at the end making even more hop complexity. Clean fermentation and very crisp.

M: Some alcohol warming as its being consumed. Very dry, light body and moderate carbonation. A lingering grapefruit bitterness sits on the tongue for about a minute after consumed. the carbonation is very silky too. nice.

O: I've never comented on how great a mouthfeel something has but I think it makes this beer. There are tons of good IPAs but something about the soft tiny bubbles mixed with moderate carbonation and a dry finish make this thing pop.

Pours- a slightly hazy orange/brown hue with an ecru head. Thin lines of lace appear on the pint.

Aroma- is heavily hopped with all kind of citrus, pine, resins and oils going on. As more whiffs are taken a balancing, pleasant base of deep malt is also apparent.

Flavor- shows the massed hop bombs, that is cut but a bready, roasted malt.

Mouthfeel- is sticky sweet with a well-rounded bitterness that absolutely covers the palate wrestles to submission and enjoys the victory.

Drinkability - Excellent beer deserving of all the praise it is getting.

Poured a hazy copper hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was very good retention and sticky lacing.

The smell featured a full blown piney hop and grainy malt.

The taste consisted of waves of resinous pine and grapefruit. A full grainy malt supported the burden. Clean dry finish rounded out the experience.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a vigorous carbonation.

Overall a superior IPA. This is American beer at its finest.
