On tap at Spokeasy Public House

A: Pours deep ruby brown amber with a creamy white head that laces well.

S: Pine and citrus hops up front, some floral notes, all backed with roasted malt sweetness.

T: Big pine and citrus hop hit with grapefruit and tangerine sticking out, some caramel sweetness, a little dankness with some herbal notes buried in there, and a light coffee like bitterness.

M: Medium to heavy body, creamy with moderate carbonation.

O: After so many dark and spiced seasonal beers this is a much appreciated change of pace. Just what I would expect for Xmas in San Diego. Love it!

Great beer for fall/winter. Would be great to drink on a cold evening while watching it snow. Too bad I like in SoCal....

Amber reddish color with a thick beige head with good retention.
Aroma of pine, molasses and orange marmalade.
Sweet flavor with big malty base of caramels and biscuit. Notes of spices, lemon zest, liquid pine resin and apricot.
Dry and bitter aftertaste. Alcohol of 8.5% abv is felt but harmonic.
Full body with mild carbonation. Sticky feeling.
If you like malty and alcoholic brews it is a good choice for you.
