Holiday 2007 poured from bomber into Red Oak uber-mug from Spring Garden in Greensboro, NC...
Big, tight, smooth bountiful head = very soapy with sparse lacing. Hazy, mahogany body.
Sweet, floral hops in abundance. Copious butterscotch malt - alcohol and carbonation in background. No issues with balance - a whole lotta everythin'.
Big, melted sweetness of caramel and butterscotch - hops are a sweet and floral backbone of this offering. Malt has a comforting stewed and chewy quality to it.
Very warming on the mouth - huge hop bite on front of palate; viscous malt and alcohol throughout.
Almost too powerful for more than one - the huge quantities of everything make this quite filling but a very enjoyable sipper.

Serving Type - 22oz bottle
Appearance - Golden tan, mellow yellow with a killer 3 inch thick, foamy head. Tons of sticky lacing.
Smell - Nice upfront citric, piney, grapefruit hops. Orange, some lemon, mild malt backbone. Sweet added sugars, along with some spices like coriander, lemon peel.
Taste - Right on par with aroma, big amounts of citric fruits featuring pine, grapefruit and orange. A bitter kick with some minor spices add a little zest behind tangerine and mango. A nice sugary note along with a caramel malt backbone.
Mouthfeel - Sweet tropical fruits along with some sugars coat the tongue. Palate gets more citric fruits, along with the caramel backbone. Aftertaste is minor bitter, tropical fruity.
Overall - Awesome. This should be a regular release. Really flavorful, nice amounts of hops and sweet sugars to create a nice smooth drink. Alcohol is hidden well and just adds to making this really pleasurable to drink.
