Pours black with a mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass with a dissipating off white head. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, chocolate covered cherries, and sweet bourbon. Taste is sweet, slight bitterness and malty with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark chocolate, roasted coconut, bourbon, and that delicious Kopi Luwak coffee. Mouthfeel is soft, velvety, and near full bodied. Finish is slightly astringent, but sweet along with some roasted malts and coffee. Great balance between the barrel and base beer. Very tasty!

Thanks Seth. Never expected to have this. Tampa review dump; full notes taken at time.

A- In line with all the other variants. Black as night with a small head. Tiny ring rarely leaves permanent lace but lots of legs per sip.

S- Not as Bourbon forward as the regular BA version but a smooth and big coffee notes are added in this version with a dry medium dark roast and fruity aroma. Cocoa, a bit of old wet oak and vanilla.

T- Coffee is the massive standout in this version. Medium to dark roasted notes of berries, espresso, cocoa nibs and earthy soil. Fruits give it a truffle chocolate brownie feel at times. Barrel booze and whiskey opens up with warming big time, vanilla and oak.

MF- Pretty much spot on with regular BA Speedway. Thick, creamy body with medium high carbonation. A bit of warmth on the back end.

Just like the regular with an amazing coffee profile. The barrel aspect leaves something a bit to be desired but the Kopi is great.
