750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Jet black with a nice khaki head. Chunky bubbles. Thick collar. A few wisps on the surface.
Smell - Lots of bourbon. Intense bourbon, even some corn. A touch of coffee, but it's overpowered by the barrel. Chocolate back there too.
Taste - Really intense bourbon again. Covers the coffee initially. The chocolate from the stout comes through here. The coffee is mostly prevalent in the back end here.
Mouthfeel - Thick and chewy. No heat, but there's a lot of bourbon to it. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Excellent beer. Intense bourbon, masks the coffee, but makes up for it in deliciousness.
