On tap at O'Brien's for 2012 SDBW.
A: Deep, slick black with a ring of fine, medium dark brown head. No real lacing, but it retains the foam quite well. Almost like looking at an espresso.
S: Faint PB and chocolate, but not really integrated. No aroma of the base beer. The aroma is on the faint side.
T: Smooth peanut butter and loads of dark cocoa. Cocoa is intense. Tastes more nutty than peanuty, if that makes sense.
M: Silky, full bodied, and medium-light carbonation which works wonderfully with the body.
O: This is like a chocolatey Speedway with just a little peanut butter. To be honest, I may not have picked up the PB had I not been looking for it (certainly the case on the aroma).
Serving type: on-tap
