A:
Pours crystal clear watery straw color with a surprisingly big white head that eventually settles to a fat film and then a middling one. Decent retention; barely any lacing.
S:
Funky (in the sense of 'weird') and grassy. Oats, green apple, grass. Meh.
T:
Level, smooth drinking. Cereals, stanky European hops, bit of acetaldehyde (I feel), 'mineraliness'.
M:
Light bodied with ample carbonation and a quick dry finish. Very easy drinking. Fine for what it is.
O:
Okay 'cheap' beer.
Drinks easy and quenches your thirst. It is by no means anything special, pretty, or delicious, but it is good after working in the sun. Not the best, mot the worst. Your best option is probably getting it real cold and drinking it from the can with a coozy if you've got one.

Picked this up at an Aldi's in Florida while on a trip. I can't fault it too much considering the low cost - 2 L for $6 (4 500mL cans). The appearance is excellent. I wish there was a little more aroma, but what I'm getting smells like a German pilsner malt. The taste is dry and refreshing, which makes the mouthfeel refreshing as well. It's a very good quality product, especially considering the price. It's a decent German pilsner at US macro beer prices. I would gladly drink this one anytime.

Ok....I went into a local Aldi to get lemons, as I was walking to the register, I noticed beer! Anyone posting about beer, loves and drinks beer.
This beer is some of the best German beer I have had. Light and full of body and taste.
This beer is worth going into Aldi for. I'll be back buying more. I'm am surprised to see such a great beer in Aldi. Go get some, you won't be disappointed!

Poured a 500 ml can into a pint glass. A two finger fine white head on a clear gold. Good head retention. Some patchy lacing.
Malty aroma.
Malt forward. Grainy. Slightly grassy. A moderate hop finish.
Medium body.. Moderate to light carbonation.
A nice clean German Pilsner. Would definitely buy again.

A very good Pilsner and very good to the original Pilsner recipe. One of my favorite beers.
Have tried many many beers over my 49 years.
Currently work at the beer store in Ontario and get to try a lots of different styles of beers. Ales, lagers, pilsners and so on

The appearance is spot on. The beer pours just a shade lighter than straw with a tall white head.
Smell is the low point. I do not expect a strong aroma from this genre, but I do expect to smell malt. If I try, I can imagine it is there, but hops is about all that comes through.
The taste is better, but the malt is flat. The hops are the star, but I do not feel like the malt is hiding behind the hops. The malt just seems nearly absent. That said, I do enjoy the taste. Also, the feel is exactly what I anticipate from a German Pils.
This is not a beer I reserve for special occasions, but it is one of those regulars in my rotation that I only drink when I have time to linger over the taste.

This is by far my favorite! I think in scoring it you half to consider the judge’s likes will not necessarily be your own. However, for me this is the top scoring beer.

Overall a smith and easy to drink pilsner.
Nose and taste are doughy, cracker, biscuit with hints of spicy hops. Moderate bitterness. Dry finish. A good beer, especially at the price point
