A small store close to the main shopping streets of Amsterdam, recognizable by the ever present stack of crates outside.
Once inside there's a wall of different glasses behind the counter and beyond that it's old wooden floors and shelves with a home made "as long as it works" look. It may have looked cheap or shoddy if you could actually see much of the shelves at all as there's beer everywhere, from the floor to the ceiling and in any other available spot there's beers, it gets hard to navigate when there's a couple people inside because so much of the store is filled with beer.
The selection is vast, they claim to always have at least 1000 beers in stock, I've never tried to count but I don't doubt it. The beers are sorted by country and brewery with a small section downstairs for Guezes, Lambics and a few Ciders.
There's rarities everywhere you look, from 3 Fonteinen's Armand'4 to Westvleteren, Mikkeler, a huge amount of De Molen beers, a good stock from various American breweries (The Lost Abbey, Hoppin' Frog, Shorts, Russian River and more) and occasionally even things like Zombie Dust, Hopslam and Pliny. There's also plenty of German and British beers and a bunch of others from around the world. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk in there.
The staff is friendly and just as enthusiastic about beer as any of the customers and willing to help out and point you in the right direction. The staff's choice beers are also often beers I probably wouldn't have picked up otherwise that were definitely worth trying.
Although they're a little pricey they have a lot of beers that are simply very hard to get otherwise and considering the place of the shop it's really not bad at all.
In short, it's the perfect beer store in my opinion and a place you simply can't ignore if you're in Amsterdam.
EDIT: I went there again yesterday and not only did I get recognized, I even got a glass for free for being a good customer even though I've only been there 6 or 7 times so far. Of course I have splurged quite a bit each time, but still I wouldn't have expected them to recognize me much less give me something for free. Thought it was worth adding this to my review.

A small little place, easy to find. The owners packed a lot into a little place. I noted American beers that I can't get here in America. They have a huge selection of glassware. I didn't spend much time looking at the glassware because I was there to buy beer to bring back to America. The prices weren't bad. The staff, like just about everyone in Amsterdam, speaks English. Note that if you need a bag, you will pay for a bag.

Tight and cramped, but for a good reason.
Place is jammed with all kinds of goodies.
Oddest thing was the first bottle I saw when I walked in was Kuhnhenn Dark Heathen. Wow! How did that get here? They have other US craft brewers and plenty of good ones.
Obviously they have a great selection of De Molen and Mikkeller. They also have a tiny lower level full of lambics (Cantillon, etc).
Great shop! Super friendly and helpful staff.
Amazing selection of glassware too.
Just wish the place was bigger.

Nice people with a really nice bottle shop. They like to trade. Absolutely the best bottle shop in the city and surrounding area. Good selection of local, Belgian, and American beer. We brought them several barrel aged beers from the Midwest, and we walked away with some really cool stuff. You absolutely MUST visit here if you are a BA user and in Amsterdam.
