Served on tap in a sample glass.

Appearance: Copper colored with a thin white head. No lacing on the glass.

Smell: Faint hops and citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Mostly bitter hops with a hint of citrus.

Overall: OK IPA. Probably have it again.

On-tap at A1A. Pours a golden orange color with a small off-white head. The aroma is pretty faint and hard to pull out of the glass. There is some malt and a hint of citrusy hops, but overall just too faint. The taste features some citrus from the hops and a hint of caramel from the malt. Overall, this is a pretty average Pale Ale. For a more full bodied flavorful beer, I would go with the Red Brick Ale.

the server recommended this one.
poured yellow with a descent little head.
smell: some hops, more grainy
taste: definate hops..a bit bitter...but the grain taste was almost greenish...like it needed aging i bit more...not to the point of skuny..i got a red next...much better...may have just been that batch.
mouthfeel was fine
drinkability: just not my cup of tea...it was ok...but was expecting something a little dryer with more robust flavor....a little too grainy...

Golden Amber in color with a nice lacing white head. The aroma is bready malt dominated with a slight floral hop scent hanging out in the background. The flavor is similar with a toasted bread flavor balanced with some hop bitterness. The beer has decent body and a nice lingering aftertaste. This was the Florida made beer I had on this trip of three breweries.

Appearance: arrives in a pint glass orange in color with a 2" head that lasts quite a while. Moderate lacing paints the glass.

Smell: citrus and caramels are very soft and tough to pull out of the glass.

Taste: the orange and grapefruit citrus tones are a bit up front here, and the caramels and ripe fruit sweetness follow behind. Bitterness levels are decent. There is a hint of graininess here too.

Mouthfeel: lightly crisp and a bit dry throughout. Short aftertaste.

Drinkability: decent but not overly exciting APA. There are not many selections in this town so this may be the best you get. This was under the name Porpoise Point Pale Ale.

Had this at the alehouse this summer. Probably their best beer if I had to pick. Pours dark golden with a hint of orange. Decent head and nice lacing. Smells slightly sour from grain and there are also some slightly sweet malt and some citrusy hops present. The taste exhibits a nice firm malty body with some light graininess and some citrusy hops. Pleasant. The mouthfeel is quite full and perhaps a tad overcarbonated. Nice and refreshing with the barest hint of sweetness at the end. Not bad at all.

a: This was a clear. pale golden color. It was served to me with a short, fizzy cap.

s: I got a little brown sugar and barely a trace of anything hoppy.

t: Sweet overall and not pleasnt. Cloying brown sugar and no hops. If this had been a bottle I would have guessed it was well out of date.

m: Fizzy and wet with a lingerng sweetness.

d: Bland and sweet, not what I was hoping for.

The aroma is light hops and malt. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. This is one rather unmemorable beer. It is pretty much average right down the middle. I would drink it again but it's not special.

Not sure where the 5.42% abv that is listed come from; visited the brewpub this evening and the abv was listed at 6%.

Deemed by the menu as an IPA and the board as a Pale, I would consider this to be a good pale or mediocre IPA, depends all on how you look at it. My review will be in the sense of a Pale.

Nice light orange color with a minimal lingering white head.

Nose is pretty faint, some fruity and floral hops.

Hops are definitely present, mostly fruity and floral, with some hints of herbal hops as well. Nice caramel malt back to round it out and finishes with a lingering bitterness and fruity hop presence.

A solid enough "brewpub" pale, I enjoyed it.

Single finger head with excellent lacing on a clear copper orange body. Candy sugar, citrus hops and caramel malt aroma. Flavor of citrus, herbal, grass and citrus hop with a nice caramel malt base. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice dry hopped beer.

Draft at A1A on 03/17/2005.

Poured a dark amber with medium rocky white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing.

Hops aroma with a small hint of citrus.

Medium body with soft carbonation.

Flavor was a medium hops with a medium sweet finish.

Good brew
