Opened on Christmas day 2010 Aged at least 8 months in my fridge.
Opened with a LOUD POP.
Pours dark cloudy orange with a fizzy off white head. Lots of white sediment floating.
Smells of sweet sugars and malts. "Dank" and "Musty", but not in a bad way.
A great quad! Tastes very sweet but the bitterness compliments it great. A good balance. Where is the ABV? Only slight alcoholic taste and bitterness from it. Very thick brew, coats the whole pallet.
Very carbonated which compliments the sweet/bitter battle.

Had on-tap at Thirsty Monk Asheville. Served in a small goblet.
A- Pours a light brown color with a 1/8 inch off-white head that doesn't retain long before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a bubbly side patch of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thick solid ring behind.
S- It could be the incorporation of the four different yeast strains but this smells like it might be tart/sour. Slight booze fume.
T- Nevermind. No sourness, just some awesomely smooth Belgian candi sugar plus some vanilla and caramel notes. Incredibly drinkable for the ABV. Butter, burnt sugar, not very bitter. Also a bit of dark fruit.
M- Slightly zesty. Medium-low carbonation and a fullish body.
O- Haven't had this in so long and it's really a crime that I don't purchase it more often.
Edit: No, it was not intentional that I gave this beer a score of 4.4 but yes, it is awesome.
