Caged and capped. Four.
Pours a murky brown color that almost takes on a tawny auburn color. Thin one finger cream colored head. Not much retention on except towards the edges of the glass. Extra sweet burnt candied sugar notes that almost take on a bit of caramel. Slight nuttiness and raisin flavors with an earthy character. Thick yeasty belgian notes are noticeable. Hops are not apparent, though there are four of them--they must be hiding.
Pleasantly thick mouthfeel as it first touches the palate. Not thick as in heavy, but thick as coating. Sugary sweetness is almost too annoying at first. Maltyness is bigger then I would have expected and lingers well into the aftertaste. Belgian yeast flavors are coupled with the malt notes adding to the overall body of the beer. Dark fruit notes are present, but play a supporting role to the caramel malt and slight belgian notes. Smooth and quite drinkable. A nice one to get a hold of if you can.

Had on-tap at Thirsty Monk Asheville. Served in a small goblet.
A- Pours a light brown color with a 1/8 inch off-white head that doesn't retain long before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a bubbly side patch of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thick solid ring behind.
S- It could be the incorporation of the four different yeast strains but this smells like it might be tart/sour. Slight booze fume.
T- Nevermind. No sourness, just some awesomely smooth Belgian candi sugar plus some vanilla and caramel notes. Incredibly drinkable for the ABV. Butter, burnt sugar, not very bitter. Also a bit of dark fruit.
M- Slightly zesty. Medium-low carbonation and a fullish body.
O- Haven't had this in so long and it's really a crime that I don't purchase it more often.
Edit: No, it was not intentional that I gave this beer a score of 4.4 but yes, it is awesome.
