We brew this beer with four malts, four sugars, four hop varieties and we ferment it four times, using four different yeast strains. The complexity of the brewing process is matched by the complexity of this unique beer. Flavors of raisin, candied fruit and plum express themselves throughout.

Pours a murky orange-brown with lots of carbonation and a rocky, off-white head. Minimal lacing. Cherries, dried dark fruits, a boatload of brown sugar and yeast, and a clove/nutmeg/cookie dough mixture. Thicker, velvety mouthfeel. Somewhat sticky, which enhanced the sweeter side of the brew. The tangier, earrthy side of the beer dominated. Apples, grapes, and cherry for the most part. A fair amount of toffee and even some chocolate flavors popped up. Lots of sticky caramel and yeasty esters. The alcohol is not well masked, giving the a boozy finish. A very good beer that is easy to have you fill of.

T: sweet, plum taste; some strawberry/cherry notes; some raspberry aftertaste, with sweet alcohol notes
M: medium bodied; a little thin, but smooth
D: nice mouthfeel and taste combo; pretty solid drinking quad; decent drinking beer overall

The smell has the raisin, Belgian yeast, light sugars and light banana all combined very nicely. The appearance has a small white head that lasts about a minute. The taste is extremely sweet, ranging close to a malt bomb. The palate is heavy and a bit sharp here and there. Medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected. Overall, pretty good Belgian Quad worthy of coming back to.

This interesting quad is fermented 4 times with 4 malts, 4 yeasts, and 4 hops. It pours an opaque orange / amber color with a medium creamy white head with high retention. The smell is very pleasant and has elements of mainly banana bread and spices. The flavor is delicious as well and fairly complex. The flavor consists of banana, yeast, coriander and other typical Belgian spices, raisin, burnt sugar, and a subtle flavor of alcohol as well. The alcohol is not very noticeable considering that this is a potent 10% beer. The finish is extraordinarily refreshing and creamy. The body is on the high end of medium, but lighter than the average quad. This beer is really quite excellent, but it is not entirely true to the style. It is lighter bodied and has a lower alcohol content than most quads, really closer to most triples that I have tried. It is also not quite as complex as I would expect from all those ingredients, but what is there is perfectly done.
