Poured from a 22oz bottle into a schooner. No obvious best before date (but this was the new release).
A - Slightly cloudy yellow with a lot of obvious carbonation in the glass. Super fluffy head that lingered for quite a while and left behind some streaky lacing.
S - Sweet and sour fruit with a hint of yeast on the nose.
T - Extremely smooth with just a hint of bitterness resolving into a combination of woody oak/vanilla and sour ripe fruit. Moderate alcohol warming.
M - Fairly light with only light carbonation.
D - Surprisingly drinkable considering how much alcohol is present. A bit of a sipper, but goes down very smooth.
Overall an excellent and unique beer; great combination of the wood and sour ripe fruit leads to a very different experience.
