A- Fairly cloudy pale copper with a small white layer of little bubbles. Nothing bad, just not super exciting.
S- Definite oakiness with light citrus and banana fruitiness. A pleasant balance between whiskey and a tripel.
T- Oak and bourbon lead the way with a rich, sweet creaminess fighting them back before a lemon flavor finish that sticks on the tongue.
M- Creamy and mouth filling. Let's all the flavors shine through and finishes reasonably dry.
O- Very drinkable and interesting at the same time. The oak and bourbon are strong enough to really enhance without overpowering or wearing on the palate.

I don't concern myself too much with review numbers, but saw I was coming up on #700 and thought this would be a good milestone review...
Appearance is a clear, brilliant golden color, with a large white head that shows excellent lacing and retention.
Aromas have lemongrass, spices, musty Belgian yeast, and some Hefeweizen like qualities of cloves and banana fruitiness. Very pleasing to smell.
The taste has a sharp and tart quality up front. Woodiness and also whiskey alcohol notes then come into play. Overall it is dry, but has some sweetness of fruits to balance. Low bitterness and hop presence.
Mouthfeel has a high carbonation and finishes somewhat dry, with notes of citrus (lemon and oranges) plus some added sweetness and warmth from the bourbon barrels.
Overall a first-class beer that I'm glad to have tried.
Thanks to Treyliff for this one!

A: Clear filtered gold with a softness to it, a fair amount of champagne like carbonation, a finger of stark white head. Nice lacing.
S: Tripel all the way. A sweetness, Belgian yeasts, coriander and offal in a Blue Ribbon way. Light notes of bubble gum and emptied shot gun cartridges just shot. Vanilla? Perhaps but muted in the sort of way you never think of vanilla being in chocolate cake but its there. Coconut (as said on the label) perhaps, as its in a lot of d shelved foods as coconut oil but but goes unnoticed as its mild.
T: Here it comes. Wow. The flavours of a great Tripel – the Belgian yeasts, coriander and fruity flavours are there but mild due to aging, and the lovely bourbon barrels come in strong. Definite woodiness, bourbon, and a softened coconut feel, creamy and smooth and yes vanilla notes. A fair sweetness is there, but not syrupy.
M: Light and smooth, good rich foamy, powdery dry carbonation.
O: Excellent brew. Was questioning it on the nose, but overwhelmed on the flavor. Bought at Greenlife Asheville, drank on the beach at Deerfield Beach, FL, July 17th, 2014.
