A - Appearance on this was very different than what I had supposed. A dark champagne color with a nice blond cap.
S -Very light floral, reminded me of summer.
T - Awesome, nothing was overwhelming and a very distinct bourbon taste, very well done.
M - Great carbonation, medium. Very light but the hiding of the alcohol did not come from the consistency, the taste is what did it for me.
O - I'm not a big fan of tripels at all, but this one seemed worth the try on tap during an Allagash takeover of a local restaurant. Mekong in Richmond VA. The added flavor from the barrel process is to me a perfect example of how to show case that process on an already strong beer. This revived my interest in Tripels.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves some some lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, banana, coconut, vanilla, spices and woody oak.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has some Belgian yeast, coconut, banana, faint spices, some vanilla, woody oak and faint bourbon.
Mouthfeel: It has a med-high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas.
