Poured into 2 wine glasses. bottled 2/2011?
A- Pours a semi-transparent rosey peach hue. A big bright foamy head forms. Looks interesting and inviting.
S- Sweet floral and fruity notes. The fruitiness has a juiciness. Some spice and yeast present. Medium
T- Similar to smell. Sweet juicy fruit and floral tones upfront that give way to a blossoming of mellow oak, vanilla, and bourbon. The flavors then blend back into equality and gently linger.
M- A nice moist feel with a slight drying action. Light- medium body. Feels nice.
O- A very good beer. Interesting. They nailed the bourbon flavor without over powering the rest. Will be buying again.

Bottling date of March 22, 2013. Poured into goblet.
A-A nice burnt orange body with great clarity. The head was a pinkies width at best with minimal head retention.
S-Oak, peach, vanilla with a overall earthiness to it. None of them are really pronounced but all melded together.
T-Really enjoy the flavor of this beer. Up front you definitely get a fruitiness of peach and mango with the vanilla coming in after it. The bourbon barrels come in with the dry finish. The barrel aging is more subtle than I was expecting but fucking awesome none the less.
M-On the heavier side for the body thats broken up by the high carbonation. Dryer finish.
O-So this beer was worth the $18 after all. Enjoyed it alot. Wish the price tag was less so I could drink this more often. I do not know the ratio of how much they blend the fresh triple with the barrel aged tripel but being that the bourbon/vanilla/aged characteristics are so subtle I would say a majority of this beer is the fresh tripel. Not complaining at all because I really enjoy this beer. I will have to grab this years and see how it taste.
