A: Pours a slightly hazy light straw color with a nice head and minimal lacing.
S: Scents of fresh Belgian yeast with citrus hops and light hints of alcohol fumes.
T&M: Nice tripel taste with quality yeast, citrus hops, warming alcohol. Smooth, light bodied.
Quality brew and glad I was able to get it locally on tap. Probably not my favorite Belgian style due the the priciness, but definitely worth a try for a special occassion.

Bottling date of March 22, 2013. Poured into goblet.
A-A nice burnt orange body with great clarity. The head was a pinkies width at best with minimal head retention.
S-Oak, peach, vanilla with a overall earthiness to it. None of them are really pronounced but all melded together.
T-Really enjoy the flavor of this beer. Up front you definitely get a fruitiness of peach and mango with the vanilla coming in after it. The bourbon barrels come in with the dry finish. The barrel aging is more subtle than I was expecting but fucking awesome none the less.
M-On the heavier side for the body thats broken up by the high carbonation. Dryer finish.
O-So this beer was worth the $18 after all. Enjoyed it alot. Wish the price tag was less so I could drink this more often. I do not know the ratio of how much they blend the fresh triple with the barrel aged tripel but being that the bourbon/vanilla/aged characteristics are so subtle I would say a majority of this beer is the fresh tripel. Not complaining at all because I really enjoy this beer. I will have to grab this years and see how it taste.
