I drank this from the 22 oz bottle into a Rochefort chalice.
The beer is a great dark gold with just a hint of orange. It has a nice bubbly finger head that is white lasting about 2 minutes, then leaving behind a light white filmy head. The lacing is great.
The aroma is pretty light, wish it was a little more full. There are some light flowers with just the tiniest scent of oak.
The taste is great the frone end is what you expect of a triple light and hoppy and floral and drinkable. Then at the end it comes burst with more flavor with some really nice oak nots.
The feel is great and nice lasting feel. It is highly drinkable.
This beer is awesome. Not a huge triple fan but the oak aging gives it some great adden ummphff.

Bottling date of March 22, 2013. Poured into goblet.
A-A nice burnt orange body with great clarity. The head was a pinkies width at best with minimal head retention.
S-Oak, peach, vanilla with a overall earthiness to it. None of them are really pronounced but all melded together.
T-Really enjoy the flavor of this beer. Up front you definitely get a fruitiness of peach and mango with the vanilla coming in after it. The bourbon barrels come in with the dry finish. The barrel aging is more subtle than I was expecting but fucking awesome none the less.
M-On the heavier side for the body thats broken up by the high carbonation. Dryer finish.
O-So this beer was worth the $18 after all. Enjoyed it alot. Wish the price tag was less so I could drink this more often. I do not know the ratio of how much they blend the fresh triple with the barrel aged tripel but being that the bourbon/vanilla/aged characteristics are so subtle I would say a majority of this beer is the fresh tripel. Not complaining at all because I really enjoy this beer. I will have to grab this years and see how it taste.
