750ml bottle poured into balloon snifter 14/6/14, cheers Kmat10 for sharing (from notes)
A golden orange, lots of bubbles floating up to a finger of foam that sits around for a couple sips leaving a few random spots of lace
S lots of wood but not a whole lot of bourbon, I guessed JD but have been told Beam was used, spicy Belgian yeast, some fruity notes, apple and banana, vanilla, some dry cereals and sugar I can't place
T more of the same, plenty of wet wood, sweet bourbon, yeasty, a little booze but very well concealed for 11%
M has some body for the color, creams up a little, faint heat on the way down, slick on the palate, woody finish
O smooth and easy drinking for 11%, interesting use of a barrel and they pulled it off, I can't recall having a BB triple before and it worked out well
I'm a little surprised this only spent 8 weeks in a barrel and was blended with fresh triple, lots of barrel and something I'd want to try again down the road
