A: poured into a duvel tulip to a deep orange with a slight reddish tint and a finger of dense off white head that retains well
S: slightly tart on the nose with a bit of red wine, a slight funk and some chalky brett
T: barnyard and funk up front with a bit of tartness, slightly fruity, a little oaky, some peppery spice and a bit of yeastyness. swallow is a lot of tannins, oak, horseblanket and funk. slightly tart on the swallow as well
M: soft and slightly prickly carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. very dry finish
O: A great beer. I could swear that this one used to be classified as an American Wild but either way it's fantastic. A bit steep but the flavors and complexity are worth it.
