Appearance: Pours a hazy, dark amber body with an effervescent, even explosive off-white head.
Smell: Grapefruit and pine with a small amount of caramel and candy sugar.
Taste: Thin, dull malt flavors along with a pine and grapefruit hop character as well as an odd yeastiness. Finishes dry and astringent.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Cripplingly fizzy.
Drinkability: A beer very unbefitting of it's pricetag.
Serving type: bottle

From notes at the brewery on 10-17-13
A - Slightly hazed yellow gold with one finger of fizzy white head medium lacing.
S - Nice tropical notes of pineapple and a little mango, belgian yest and some spice.
T - Very good flavor, those tropical notes are front and center followed up by a nice spicy clove and even a slight slight hint of mint, finishes more on the tart citrusy side.
M - Dry but not dehydrating kinda dry, crisp.
O - Very good blend of american IPA and a belgian, tons of flavor.
Serving type: on-tap
