This brew pours a dark rusty red with a sizeable off-white head that goes down quickly and rings the glass. Aroma is at first very malty, with some citrus and Belgian phenols also making themselves known. Hoppiness is apparent as the brew has a citrusy bite to it, blending with usual Belgian-sugar and yeast taste with a tangerine like sweetness kicking in at the end.
Definitely a hopped-up Belgian brew, but I'll need to try a few others to see if the resemblance to an IPA is warranted.

From notes at the brewery on 10-17-13
A - Slightly hazed yellow gold with one finger of fizzy white head medium lacing.
S - Nice tropical notes of pineapple and a little mango, belgian yest and some spice.
T - Very good flavor, those tropical notes are front and center followed up by a nice spicy clove and even a slight slight hint of mint, finishes more on the tart citrusy side.
M - Dry but not dehydrating kinda dry, crisp.
O - Very good blend of american IPA and a belgian, tons of flavor.
