Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass. Excited to try this one considering it doesn't classify itself as a true stout but that of a Belgian creation.
A - Pours a small one finger head that has a sort of light copper tone. Lots of lacing around the glass. The beer itself is a deep black. It looks so much like a stout.
S - Copper, coffee, sweet floral notes? Metallic scents are also present.
T - Copper, coffee or espresso, hops. Hops are very present in the middle and add a great touch to the balance with the darker flavors. Very complex. Theres another flavor floating around but I cant put finger on it. Its fruity of sorts and rather tasty.
M - Smooth with low carbonation; once again showing its stout side.
D - If it looks like a stout, smells like a stout, and tastes like a stout...then it must be a stout! Very delicious and complex.
