I'm getting ready to vote myself off the BA Island for not having reviewed this to date... I've had at least 3-4 sixtels of this on the home bar over the past few years, Tripel is my favorite style, and yet, as I sit here sipping on another pull of it from the home bar, I somehow realize that I've never bothered to give it a formal review. What a jerk I turned out to be.
Pours perfect. 2-3F of fluffy white head over a very cloudy, chill-hazed, light golden body. Crazy good lacing all the way down the glass.
Aromas are a touch light for the style, even with a swirl (maybe my sixtel is pouring too cold). Apricot and peach skin, yeast and bready quality, clove, hay/some barn, but zero alcohol essence. This is the first dangerous aspect of this beauty.
Mouthfeel is so damn creamy smooth, without being the least bit heavy or thick. The MF is the real reason this SUCH a dangerous beer! It goes down like a 5% Saison, or table BPA. Flavors are much richer than the aromas, leading with dull tree fruits - especially ripe peach, dried apricot, green bananas and navel orange. Yeast is in the house. Some green peppercorn and pepper, but not overwhelming. The juicy fruit quality wins out, though in the overall flavor profile.
Can't say enough about this beer. I have handed off literally dozens (if not hundreds) of samples of this to friends and family over the years, and never, ever had anyone say ... "meh, not my thing". Everyone loves this beer, and I'm more than glad to share it. It's what BA's do!

A: Solid amber color with a decent head when poured from a bottle.
S: hints of fruit with spices.
T: Delicious. Solid beer all around. Have already had the White, Double, and Double Reserve. This is quite good with a light texture and great taste.
M: sufficiently carbonated and light on the tongue, hints of spices and fruits. Delicious. Have already compared with the White, Dubel, Dubel Reserve, and Tripel today.
O: Solid beer. Would be happy to drink in just about any situation. Pretty fantastic.

Poured from the carefully handled bomber procured from Allagash directly and then cold/cooler-kept until consumption today.
A: slightly hazy gold with 1 finger head that dissipates to a 4 mm disk, no lacing on this glass.
S: strong belgian breadiness followed by a classic belgian tripel yeast profile. Very on-point sewery, sweet yeast and hop notes. Balanced for the style. Sewery hops do present at very end of nose.
T: Of course the nose and finish are Belgian Triple ale...and the taste follows the yeasty, bready nose. No overtly obnoxious flavors present now.
M: no creamy or filling mouthfeel, and middle road to boot.
O: worth a quaff if you can find it.
