I'm new at this reviewing game. Gonna do it, though, as inspired by @houser.

Appearance: A pretty orange-yellow with a small ring of head.

Smell: Not extremely strong smelling… just a hint of banana there (which I like)

Taste: Balanced at first taste, then the bitterness holds on the tongue as the booze begins to dominate.

Mouthfeel: Pretty light in body, light carb

Overall: It’s good, for sure, though I’d like a bit more sweetness to balance out the alcohol. I’d drink this any time it was handed to me, but I’d like to try some other tripels soon for comparison.

I guess I was expecting more from an Allagash product. The mouthfeel was very thick and not what I usually expect from a Tripel.

Poured 25.4 bottle into std pint glass. Clear straw color with big head which dissipated leaving nice lacing. Awesome nose with characteristic diacetyl. Flavor is my idea of perfect Belgian character. Great mouthfeel. Nice finish. My favorite Belgian Tripel.
