Appearance & Smell: Poured a pale yellow-straw color with surprisingly little cloudiness and minimal head. Smelled of strong, sour grapefruit, orange peel and citrus. I would call this the prototypical Belgian white, almost exactly what I anticipate when I think of this style.
Taste & Drinkability: On taking my first sip, the very first thing I notice is how drinkable and smooth this drinks. It has a thin consistency with a substantial level of carbonation and relatively little (or just very subtle) mouth coating and aftertaste, the confluence of which makes it very easy to put back. Definitely wouldn't have a problem having more of this - and that's a statement for a self-prescribed hop head. It's flavorful with robust and zesty citrus notes.
Overall, this is an excellent and extremely sessionable offering from Allagash.

Appearance has a hazy, honey-colored beer with a small white head that fades fast and leaves just a little lace behind.
Smells include fruity notes of bananas, coriander spices, and some barnyard yeast aromatics. Very nice nose
The taste is partly dry but also has some sweetness to it from the fruits. Flavors include green grapes, for a white wine taste, plus citrus fruit such as lemons and oranges.
The high carbonation makes for a prickly mouthfeel, with a body somewhere between light and medium. The finish is semi-sweet with green grapes, but also some tartness of lemon.
Overall a very enjoyable beer; it's interesting how the different flavors play out for a sweet and dry aspect at the same time.
Thanks to Treyliff for this one!
