Appearance: Pours with a two finger white foam. Lacing is mountainous, but more like foothills than mountains. They do last a good while, however. The body is a very cloudy (appropriate to style, I take it) banana gold. A good looking beer.
Smell: Pepper and coriander dominate. I suppose I'm not a huge fan of coriander, because most witbiers I've drank, with the exception of Blanche de Chambly, contain doses of the stuff and it's a bit off-putting to me. That being said, there is a pleasant banana bread underbelly, with ripe banana, granny smith apple, papaya, coconut underneath.
Taste: Ah. The coriander is much more pleasant in the mouth than the nose, blending with the banana in a very even way. Granny smith apple again, some pepper.
Mouthfeel: Overly astringent for such a light beer, I think.
Drinkability: Highly drinkable.
Serving type: bottle
