Appearance - Pours a hazy pale yellow with strands of yeast floating freely around the glass. The head is white, about a finger thick and has average retention. Resulting lace is thick and sticky.
Smell - Pungent aromas fill the room as the beer is poured from bottle into glass. Notes of bubblegum and coriander spice, backed by a subtle wheat malt.
Taste - Follows the nose. Yeasty bubblegum matched with a strong coriander spice. Not especially bitter, with only hints of orange poking through, but well balanced regardless.
Mouthfeel - Light in body... almost watery. Carbonation leaves a nice tingle on the lips. The body leaves a little something to be desired.
Overall - A wonderful witbier from Allagash, though I think it could benefit from a body that's just a tad thicker... but that's a style flaw, IMO, more so than this particular brew.
