Poured from a slightly old bottle my roommate picked up yesterday.
A- Pours a very hazy pineapple colored liquid. Good 1 finger head that dies down after a short while leaving good sticky lacing the sides of the glass.
S- The nose upfront has a lot of yeast and clove smell to it. The underbody was mostly wheat and some barnyardish scent I couldn't figure out what it was. Hints of citrus (orange) come through and fade. A slight alcohol scent came through in a slight sence.
T- This beer like I said was a little older than I would have liked. I'm not sure exactly how old it was but it tasted kind of skunked to me. The yeast and clove overpower everything else in the beer with a wheaty alcohol taste bringing up the rear. I didn't drain pour it because I could still drink it. My roommate on the other hand thought it was a fantastic beer....hmmm.
M- This had a medium-light mouthfeel to it. The carbonation was too much for the beer and it just fizzled across the palate. Hints of yeast and clove were left on the tounge. Not pleasant but not too bad.
D- This beer as it is is not drinkable at all. This beer from what I remembered as in the past was a enjoyable beer. Maybe if I get this beer again I'll re-review this beer. But as it stands with this bottle it is bad.
