Thanks to amphion1065 for this 12oz bottle, poured into a pint glass.
A- Extremely hazy straw color which pours with a half finger of white head that dissipates quickly. Step-like lacing all the way down the glass. Serves as a means to identify how much I enjoyed the beer as I drank.
S- Mainly a earthy smell derived from the yeast. Other hints include: raw wheat, coriander, lemon zest and banana dusted in clove.
T- I was overpowered by coriander and clove. Almost too strong at first, but it mellowed out with lemon and banana as the beer warmed up. The earthy smell was not present in the taste, but that could be due to the strength of the spices and herbs.
M- Medium body with low carbonation. Sits slightly heavy on the palate. Easy to drink in the same way a hot tea is once it cools down.
O- Hands down one of the best American hefes that I have had a chance to have. A little too heavy on the spices, which had an almost medicinal tea flavor to it, yet it works. Really easy to drink and I will grab a few next time I make a beer run.

09/19/11 At Rattle n Hum, NYC. Hoped this would live up to the hype. The claim that it is a 'bucket list' brew
Since Real Beer drinkers will live forever, there ain't no bucket list', but to consider oneself a real beer drinker, make sure you try this before you pay your last tab.
Worth more than these words.
