Got to try a sample of this at BeerFest 08 at Fries Cafe in Clifton. I'm not usually a wit person, but I was told this was the one to try to change my mind. I was definitely not disappointed.
Appearance: Pours very yellow with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly. Very little sticky lacing hangs around.
Smell: This is definitely what I would expect for the style. The yeast is very distinct and heady, and the grains and malts are also strongly present.
Taste/Mouthfeel: The mouth is very light and well carbonated, which helps spread the flavors throughout my palate as I drink. The taste is an excellent balance of the grains, yeast and malts - each one is deliciously present without overpowering the other. The malts add caramelly, sugary sweetness and the grains a toasty depth without adding heaviness. There is a wonderful finish to this beer - floral, herbal and citrusy - very delicate and almost perfume-like.
Drinkability: High. The carbonation and the mix of the satisfying malts/grains/yeast with the light and interesting finish makes me want to have another.
