Poured from a 12oz bottle into a DFH snifter
A: Pours a hazy golden color. Nice sized head that faded to some small bubbles on the top layer.
S: Some nice spices including coriander and pepper. Also a grassy component and some citrus - orange. There is a very slight funk as well.
T: Very clean and crisp. The same spices are there from the nose (coriander and some pepper), but there citrus fruit presence is a bit greater. Mostly orange and a little bit of lemon rind as well.
M/D: Extremely easy drinking. Light and refreshing. Overall a really well made beer, worthy of its status as one of the best in its style.

on tap at Garden State Diner, Newark Airport.
Cloudy dark yellow with a finger of steady white that rings, and a continual stream of bubbles.
Herb-heavy nose with wax, baguette crust, and lemon rind.
Crackery malts, surprising blast of funk, lemon-pepper, and a leaf and citrus finish.
Orangeade finish and tingly linger.
Lt-med, plenty round, wheaty smooth.
The real deal. Definite yeast and herb notes, body not too thin, refreshing. Doesn't have the nuance of St Bernardus, but not far off.
