Allagash White with Yeast Swirl
C: 4.0 - Hazy light yellow color with brownish tones. Pours with about 1 inch of head, which leaves behind some lacing on the glass.
S: 3.0 - Yeasty. Wheat. Coriander. Lemony citrus scent.
T: 3.5 - Flat. Watery. Not much flavor. Some presence of spices, with a light sting on the tongue as with coriander. Very light hoppy bitterness. No aftertaste.
M: 4.0 - Carbonation light/medium.
D: 3.5 - A little watery but very easy to drink. The taste is good for a hefeweizen, but it is hardly exceptional.

on tap at Garden State Diner, Newark Airport.
Cloudy dark yellow with a finger of steady white that rings, and a continual stream of bubbles.
Herb-heavy nose with wax, baguette crust, and lemon rind.
Crackery malts, surprising blast of funk, lemon-pepper, and a leaf and citrus finish.
Orangeade finish and tingly linger.
Lt-med, plenty round, wheaty smooth.
The real deal. Definite yeast and herb notes, body not too thin, refreshing. Doesn't have the nuance of St Bernardus, but not far off.
