Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance.

12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip glass at approximately 40 degrees F.

Appearance: Pours a quite cloudy pale straw gold, and forms a massive white head with good retention. Lacing was exceptional throughout.

Smell: Musty wheat mixed with a bouquet of light fruits, from pear to lemon-orange citrus. Some hints of spiciness lurk within the depths of the aroma.

Taste: Spices hit straightaway, coriander, clove, and white pepper, before receding a touch to let fruit esters swirl in. Waves of white grapes, pears, and a mildly tart citrus bearing hints of orange and lemon hit and mingle. A faint tone of bubblegum arises towards the finish, which leaves a lingering tart citrus and peppery spice aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Light and effervescent, this is a refreshing beer to drink.

Overall: A good witbier, solid in every aspect. I'm a fan.

One of the best out there. Try to get on draft if you can find it.

Not a fan of witbiers, and this was no exception.

Tastes a little bitter, similar to other Belgium wheat beers.

Look: Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head, leaves good lacing

Smell: Spices, cloves, coriander, orange peel, light malts, lemon

Taste: Spicy, pepper, cloves, coriander, orange peel, light hints of banana, light malts, wheat, hints of lemongrass

Feel: Light body, full carbonation

Overall: A classic brew, an interesting take on a classic style. The added spices enhance the yeast flavors, rather than detract. Love it. Very refreshing as well
