Notes/Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance.

P: On tap from a growler into a tulip glass.

A: Pours a cloudy light gold with a giant, fluffy, white, cotton-like head. Lacing is decent.

S: Yeasty Belgian aromas but very clean. Fresh herbs, spicy, peppery a little orange or orange peel. Inviting.

T: A lovely clean, slightly sweet, grassy malt base that finishes with citrus, peppercorn and fresh herbs. Some bite in the finish. All of the flavors are quite pronounced at some point during the taste but none are any more of a star than the other. Simply the best Belgian Wit brewed outside of Belgium and for that matter, brewed just about anywhere.

M: On the dry side but so smooth and silky, it's a wonderful sip every time. Very refreshing.

O: I've been enjoying this beer for quite a few years now and I was surprised to see that I had never reviewed it. As I stated above, this is an amazing, basically textbook example, of a Belgian Witbier and shouldn't be missed by anyone interested in the style. Perhaps the only thing missing is a touch of honey flavor, that would make it perfect in my opinion.
