This pours a cloudy straw gold color with thin foam. Big yeasty and estery aroma that has some coriander, orange peel & floral notes. This has a pleasurably crisp and estery flavor that’s light and delicate with a wheated sweetness on the palate. Definitely enjoyable and a steal for the price.

A-cloudy yellow with a thin white head
S-slightly tangy Belgian whites. Lot of lemony citrus. Medium strength
T-comes in with a great taste of citrusy Belgian wheats. Extremely crisp! Lemon and corny grains. It's a good taste. High quality ingredients with a bold flavor.
M-crisp medium carbonation with a good crisp finish.
O-not sure if I can think of a better beer on a hot summer day. It's so refreshing, quite amazing for a witbier. Definitely much better than the others I've had.

Poured from a bottle to a pint glass.
Had a thick, foamy head; golden, hazy wheat color; moderate carbonation
Aroma was mostly spices; also sensed some wheat and orange when drinking
Taste was well-balanced; mostly wheat, but slightly hoppy finish; sweetness was similar to honey; found more oranges and hints of spice - coriander, nutmeg
Mouthfeel was refreshing and bubbly; left a taste of orange peel in the mouth
Overall, a crisp, satisfying beer. Great for a warm summer night, but flavors are warm and earthy enough to enjoy year-round.
I want to say that I had high expectations for this beer. After searching for it for months, I was a bit let down. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but it just didn't do it for me the way I thought it would. Personally, I like a wheat beer that packs a BIG citrus punch. But I guess that's why we're all on here.
Anyway, I'd still recommend as a solid witbier, and looking forward to trying some more beers from Allagash.

Appearance: Pale straw. Slight haze. Very pale. Head is bright-white, fluffy and drops to a thin cap after a minute or so. Moderate carbonation pulls from the bottom. No lacing to speak of.
Smell: Lemon, wheat, pale malts, and a mildly earthy yeast. Grassy. Sweetness in the back from the malts. Floral and bright. Mild touches of orange. Very mellow and easy.
Taste: Light powdery yeast. Mild lemon with a solid grassy backing. Touches of clove, cardamom, and a mild fruity sweetness. Slightly herbal and musty. Very mellow all around. Some pale malt sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Almost like seltzer. Very bright with a light body and higher carbonation. Super smooth with a hyper clean finish. A slight yeast/wheat bite at the end.
Overall: Amazingly easy to drink. Nice flavor. This is the ultimate wheat beer. Drink it, love it.
