Had on tap at Haven Gastropub with kojevergas below me. Poured in a 5 oz tulip glass. Reviewed from notes.

A- Bubbly white lacing. Thin with poor retention. Cloudy orange color.

S- Citrus and hoppy. Lemon and bitterness.

T- Slightly hoppy. The hops and lemon are paired nicely. Bitter finish.

M- Very light body. Bubbly and lingering finish.

O- Light beer, decent taste. Pale ale through and through. Wouldn't bother with again.

Served on-draught into a 5 oz sampler in old town Orange, California. It was at some cafe down the street from Provisions on Glassell. Expectations were high, as I quite fancy what I've had previously from Allagash. Reviewed from notes. I didn't pair it with food.

A: Pours a half finger head of decent cream, okay thickness, and and bad retention. Colour is a cloudy yellow.

Sm: Light lemon ester hops and clean barley. A mild strength aroma.

T: Lemon ester tinges, with clean barley as the foundation. Simple but pleasant and refreshing. Full and appealing without featuring any strong flavours. Here's a beer that embodies subtlety; I'd like some of the Russian Imperial Stout fans to try beers like this because you don't need heavy-handed strong flavours to form a good beer. I'm certain someone with a better palate than mine (and more than a 5 oz sampler) could identify these notes.

Mf: Smooth and wet. Very nice thickness. Complements the flavours.

Dr: Extremely drinkable - this beer's strong suit (and often Allagash's). Ultimately, however, it's too simple for me to consider seeking out in the future. Give her a spin though, especially if you fancy the style.

Served on-tap in NYC. Excited to try this BPA from Allagash.

Appearance is golden color with a one finger head. Its` nose has belgian yeast, apple, malts, some lighter hops. The taste contains some spice, lemongrass, citrus, herbs. MF is light-medium, with a slight bitterness to it. This beer drinks easily and a couple glasses of this with some appetizers would be a perfect fit. One of the more "sessionable" offerings from Allagash.

Served on tap in an Allagash sort-of tulip. Reviewed from notes.

Pours a bright, hazy gold. A one-finger white head forms and lasts. Clingy lacing.

A somewhat funky, if not particularly "buggy" or "wild," aroma. Pretty heavy citrus notes, with a strong lemon presence. Some hay, wheat. Yeasty.

The taste is far hoppier than I expected. A pretty evident bitterness throughout the palate, and it unfortunately throws off a lot of the citrus fruit flavors and subtle funk.

Mouthfeel is nice and effervescent. An easy drinking BPA, for sure.

Fine, pretty unremarkable. Allagash can and does do a better job emulating easier-drinking Belgian styles.

On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY

A: The beer is hazy golden yellow in color. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving some lacing on the surface and a ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are aromas of grassy hops in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has some flavors of spices along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The finish is rather dry.
O: The beer is relatively easy to drink but seems like could use more balance in the taste because there are contrasting flavors.

Served at CK in DC. Beer is yellow, mostly clear with a soft white head of small bubbles that has low retention, low carbonation, and no lacing.

Aroma is a little grainy, a little bready / yeasty, interesting.

Beer is really watery, thin, dry, grainy at the back, minimal malt backbone, I guess for a small beer it is interesting but not a great example.
