Growler filled at DeCicco's Brewster, NY during their Allagash event .
Pours near clear, dull yellowy amber, under a lasting fluffy off white head. Leaves more then ample spots and strands of lacing and a tiny bubble film.
Pepper, yeast and ripe fruits on the nose.
Tasty tripel thats on the hoppy side. Nice amounts of more ripe fruits, moderate pepper, lime and Belgian yeast notes all the way through. Dry finish. Real nice Americanized version of the style.
Happy to get to try this on draft.

On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles coating the surface and the edges of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemony hops, yeast and spices are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that the underlying notes of malts are noticeable. No alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has an interesting mix of lemons and spices that makes it share some similarities to that of a saison.

Had this on-tap at the Brick Store Pub. A pretty beer- slightly cloudy pale golden with a glow to it and a very white head that fades to a ring. Nice lacing. Smells creamy, citrusy, and sweet. Notes of lemon and cream and typical herbal and peppery notes of a Saison. The taste is similar, with a bit of straw on the palate, followed by juicy yuzu and finishing with a note of lemon zest. Velvety soft in the mouth, and the alcohol is very well hidden. I enjoyed this as a nice change of pace.
