A-Pours a a dark copper. Body seems pretty clear. Thinner, off-white head that is whipped in its consistency. It leaves steady ladder rungs of lace.
S-Good intensity. Comes on pretty heartily with candied grapefruit hops and some spiciness in three essences of the word: rye spice, spicy hop and Belgian yeast spice.
T-Loaded with boozy, sweet grapefruit hops. Some eucalyptus. Estery from the Allagash yeast which delivers plenty of flavor nuances. Caramel and bread combo maltiness with a hearty rye flavor.
M-Medium bodied. Alcohol is set well. Medium carbonation. Lasting flavor.
O-A tasty triple collaboration brew. Hoppy Belgian-inspired beers rare usually very hit or kiss with me. 'Twas a hit.

The beer pours a very frothy head and foamy white head that dissipates somewhat quickly. The beer itself is a light amber bordering on copper that is clear. The beer leaves quite a bit of lacing. The beer smell consists of light rye, spices, floral and crisp hops with a fruity yeast smell and a slight bit of alcohol. The beer taste is similar to the smell. Light rye notes and other spices. The hops are stronger in the taste and more bitter than the smell while the fruity yeast notes are weaker but take the edge off of the bitterness. Biting carbonation with a medium body that goes down smooth. Overall, a pretty good collaboration between three breweries and worth getting.
