355ml bottle poured into tulip 3/10/13, cheers MasterSki and Sean9689 for the bottle

A hazy golden orange that gets lighter towards the edge of the glass, enough clarity to see a few bubbles but it looks pretty still, a finger of foam falls quickly leaving a single thick ring of foam

S citrus, herbal notes, honey, bread crust and dry corn flakes, strange Belgian yeast, faint apricot and spicy hops

T fruity and spicy, much like the nose but some hay replaces the corn flakes

M light bodied and well carbonated almost fluffy, spicy grains linger

O I could drink a few of these with no issues, light and refreshing with enough going on to prevent boredom for ages

would make a great summer session brew, a fair bit going on in something I could drink by the gallon

Just bought my first rack, love the wooden case, it should make hauling my homebrew into hunting camp much easier! $60 total, $20 for the case and $40 for the beer, subsequent refills are $40 total.

This beer pours with a very nice head, small bubbles and very frothy. It lingers for quite some time before finally subsiding to just a thin pale-white coating. Carbonation is fairly apparent and the beer itself is a hazy, dark yellow (color of late august straw).

The nose is very yeast-forward, it has hints of cloves and some spice (I can't quite put my finger on it.

This is the most heavily hopped BPA that I have ever had. The hops are bitter though, the hop addition must be very early in the boil and of low AA. Its a nice combination, the beer finishes fairly dry too. Once the hop bitterness fades there is a residual taste of yeast, not too much, but enough to notice. The overral effect is a slightly bitter, low ABV, session bear with nice clove notes.

A lovely beer (and a gorgeous wooden case) this will be purchased again.

On-tap at the Allagash tasting room.

Beer is clear golden in colour with a moderately-sized white head. Decent retention, good lacing.

Nose is a bit faint, but nice. Pear, yeast and bread.

Taste contains yeast, light fruit, and is fairly bready. A bit of spice and notable grapefruit hop flavours. Moderately bitter. A strongly hopped Belgian session ale?

Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Goes down easily.

Overall, quite a nice beer, especially at the low ABV. A very nice session beer.
