Pours a beautiful golden color with a hint of haze. Foamy white head that sticks around leaving spots down the glass.

Smell is very clean and crisp, with a little hops and malts and a hint of spiciness and honey sweetness.

Tastes like a proper pilsner, with light hops and malts; crisp and clean again, with some sweetness and just a tiny bit of bitterness.

Goes down smooth, with some carbonation and a light body.

Tastes like a pilsener should; clean, easy drinking and fresh. Perfect on a warm day with some barbeque and friends. Simple and smooth.

Decent overall Pils. Good taste. Not too heavy. Good pour from the bottle. A very affordable, good drinking beer. Perfect for hot weather- enjoy at a cookout or a day on the gold course, or a day fishing.
Not bitter, light in color, good palatable Pils.
It's usually priced well, too- for the budget conscious consumer. Enjoy!

11.2 ounce bottle poured into pilsener flute glass

A - crystal clear light gold/straw in color, with a small one inch head, decent retention and lacing.

S - The smell is fairly weak, mostly grasses and grains

T - sweet malt taste with a crisp, dry, yeasty, but surprising bitter finish. But everything about this is fairly subtle. The Germans just make this style a little better than we do.

M - gold carbonation but not much aftertaste

O - a good example of the style!!!

The best widely available German Pilsner. The real deal, great with some burgers off the grill or some charcuterie and fromage. I wish they would bring in kegs so we could drink it on tap. Unfortunately for the most part US craft brewers feel the need for too many hops or too much malt to make a classic session style German Pilsner

Crisp, clear, mouth feel.

Not overly carbonated.

Excellent permeation of pils flavor and good to last dreg.

Typically I find this beer on sale at the Piggly Wiggly, in 4 packs.

I consider an excellent pils like this a highly underated beer in a land flowing with mediocre to horrible lagers, and overpriced over ABV'd microbrews. This is the beer you need when you want a beer that goes right down the middle in excellent form.
