Yellow and clear with some rising bubbles, a white head and sparse lace.
Grassy and grainy with a faintly sweet smell.
Flavor is lightly sweet and well grainy, grassy, with a touch of bread and a light hops twang.
Body is very light, medium carbed, and quite easy to drink.
It's a very fine German pilsner.

A: Pale yellow color with a scant head and lace.
S: The smell of grains and a hint of grassiness
T: Very clean tasting without a real standout
single flavor, but a good hop residue left
M: Clean and crisp very light pilsner but not
what I would consider thin.
D: Very drinkable pils. refreshing and a good

Sampled: On tap. pint glass
Aroma: Clean maltiness with a bit of hoppy spiciness. Pale gold, the color of straw, with decent head retention. This is the beer Budeweiser wishes it could be - the combination of typically round, sweet decoction mash flavor combined with a nice firm bitterness and hoppiness that is near-perfect in balance. The lingering bitter-hop-malt-spiciness flavors at the back of your tongue after a long sip just screm "more!!" One of the best, if not the best, Pilsners I've yet tried. Good in bottle (if it hasn't been skunked), but better on tap.

Presentation: 12oz euro style green bottle with no freshness date to be found.
Appearance: Pale yellow with the slightest chill haze, tight bubbly white lace leaves a few rings around the glass.
Smell: Faint lemon in the aroma hinting towards floral.
Taste: Medium bodied with a crisp malty palate, slightly restrained bitterness ... more subtle and flavourful than bitter, yet still helps to balance quite well with a spicy bite. The hops become more evident in the finish as they linger with some residual sweet grain.
Notes: Forget Becks or the similar ... a fine pils to be had any time of the year. A treat for either the veteran micro drinker or a macro drinker. Goes down well yet very tasty at the same time.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is grain, grass, corn and a little bit of citrus.
The flavor is grain, corn and grassy hops. There is a low amount of bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Received in December shipment of my BOTM club.
Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Pilsner glass.
Appearance: Clear, pale yellow with a thick frothy white head that leaves some light lacing behind.
Smell: Grass, hay, bitter apple, spicy hops and some light metallic bitterness.
Taste: Nice rounded apple, pear and grass malt backbone, with a light spicy and metallic bitterness coming through.
Feel: Moderate carbonation, light body and dry finish.
Drinkability: More than solid example of a light, dry German Pils. While not as bitter as some (although still quite dry), it is very well balanced and I could see drinking a decent amount of this if available.

Pours a clear pale golden color with a nice white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of grassy hops with some malt. Taste is again grassy hops with a bready flavor and a bit of honey. Thin body with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall this is a pretty solid German Pilsner that is very drinkable. I'll definitely try this again next summer.

Crisp, clear, mouth feel.
Not overly carbonated.
Excellent permeation of pils flavor and good to last dreg.
Typically I find this beer on sale at the Piggly Wiggly, in 4 packs.
I consider an excellent pils like this a highly underated beer in a land flowing with mediocre to horrible lagers, and overpriced over ABV'd microbrews. This is the beer you need when you want a beer that goes right down the middle in excellent form.

Malt aroma and mouth a light beer with good carbonation.
Bitter in aftertaste. good drinkability
This is a beer that we can drink a lot in hot days. It´s a pilsen with bittering hops.

Had on-tap at the Brick Store.
Pours a clear gold color with a one-finger white head. The head dissipates into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of pilsner malts and light amounts of spicy and somewhat floral hops.
Tastes good. Sweet and slightly biscuity pilsner malt flavors up front with a hint of spiciness joining in midway through the sip. These flavors carry through to a solidly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It has a decent thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass easily and could certainly have another.
Overall there was nothing here that really blew me away but on the other hand there are really no weaknesses here. Worth a shot.

Clear corn silk yellow brew with a great tall white cap. There are plenty of bubbles moving from bottom to top fueling the dwindling lacy head. My first impression is that this beer is too thin looking. It's very watery looking with a touch of pale color.
Nose is a clean and malty with touches of spicy hops and a pinch of sulphur. The sulphur is not a nice touch but it is not overly present and sometimes doesn't even register. It's definitely a bigger nose then I expected (given the look.)
Taste is much like the scent minus any trace of the sulphur. Golden cereal like malts with dashes of bitter spicy hops and a honey like finish. Again bigger flavors then one would expect from the appearance and quite flavorful.
The mouthfeel is excellent. Crisp and bubbly carbonation mixes with a nice soft and smooth body. Very pleasing and quite easily drinkable. Yes I've had better pilsners but this one is solid and underrated if you ask me. I saw it at a bar for $2 a can because they couldn't sell any. Good luck for me because this is a solid brew.

I love this beer - and I'm not just saying that because it was being sold at my local grocer in 500ML can four-packs (that's two liters of actual european pilsner beer people!) for the princely sum of $4.57. Let me try to explain why this beer rocks: it rocks because it has something other lesser beers typically lack. It has staying power. By that I mean it goes down extremely well on the first luscious gulp, but continues to go down just like that throughout the whole half-liter can. Very few beers manage to achieve that. And for me, it has one of the best combinations of taste and "refrenshing-ness" (if I can coin a term) that I have ever experienced in a pilsner. So, to summarize: go out and get this beer and see for yourself if it isn't really pleasing. I'm pretty confident you'll agree.
