Rag Time Killer Blonde was a new offering (I think it was the new spring seasonal) It was served in a 16 oz imperial style glass. 8.4 %... Is it an imperial blonde? let's see...
The beer is dark copper with a clingy beige head.
It has an aroma of grains, light brown sugar and a bit of plum.
Beer is sweet and malty. It could use a bit more balance (how about a shot of cascades to add some bitterness) and not a beer that I would pair with food. Having said that, the alcohol is well hidden and there is some fruit and floral notes mid glass. My impression is of lots of caramel malts.
The mouth has a nice bit of heft and slickness.
Serving type: on-tap
