Saaz and Hallertau hops provide a clean, floral aroma with minimal hop bitterness. Fruity/spicy flavors from the yeast are perfectly balanced with the sweetness of Belgian candy sugar. Notes of apricot and pear lingers nicely against a dry finish.

I had this beer poured from a bottle into a tall snifter at my hotel bar. I think this is a beautiful beer with an orangish golden yellow color with excellent white head and curtain lacing. Sweet fruit smell and taste. Fairly hoppy for a trip, with the hoppy bitterness becoming more pronounced as it warms. Definitely candied fruit along with sweet pears and apricot. Slightly syrupy feel but overall a very nice beer.

Cloudy amber orange appearance
Around a medium body with at least medium carbonation
Aroma is sugary bubblegum, floral honey, fruity, and sweet grainy bread
Taste is less sweet than expected with a mild grainy sourness. Floral honey, sweet bread and bubblegum.
Overall the sour grain taste didn't seem to totally fit but otherwise a decent flavorful attempt at the style

12 ounce bottle, bottled on 06/12/19. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a tulip, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with about an inch or so off-white head that stuck around a little while. There's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like candi sugar, apricot, apple, banana and some peppery spice. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some bubblegum and bready malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and has a good amount of carbonation. I thought it was an enjoyable enough brew, worth picking up a bottle if you've never had it before.

From a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with a half finger of white head that disappears quickly leaving very little lacing. Smell is of tart fruit. Taste follows the nose with a little bit of tanginess and alcohol. Tanginess and a bit of carbonation dominate the mouthfeel. Not my most favorite style beer in the world, but this one seems fairly well put together.

I have no idea what I'm getting into.

L: It's golden alright. Filtered. Carbonation appears minimal. Agitation reveals thick rich head, looks like whipped cream.

S: Candy. Brown sugar, apple pie.

T: You're drinking the top layer of an apple pie.

F: Warm from the booze. Finishes fairly clean, excellent for sipping on between bites of food, where that covert 10% ABV makes a welcome appearance.

O: I'd order one from a restaurant or 24 of them from a C-Store.

I got a bottle of this from my good friend and old neighbor from Oswego. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had white grape wine notes. The taste was Belgian leaning with alcohol and Belgian malt twang. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer......not my style.

Best interpretation of a Belgian tripel outside of Belgium. On the sweeter side but a definite favorite of mine if I can't get my hands on a legitimate Belgian tripel.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass.

L---Practically clear, burnt golden color. Thick, slightly off-white head with very good retention. Excellent lacing.

S---Candy sugars & yeast are predominant. A little bit of banana & light spiciness.

T---Spiciness shows up a great deal more than in the nose. Banana & yeast. Some candy sugars. Some fruitiness as well.

F---No real hint of 10% ABV. Full bodied & thick. A relatively easy drinker.

O---Not the best American Tripel, but still a solid effort. I'd get this one again, for sure.
