Bottling date: 22 June 2004.
Appearance: Poured into a glass, it makes a white head just under an inch. Shortens to a foamy cover of the beer in about a minute, leaving lacing on the glass. Color a golden honey, with a very slight amber tint. Moderate carbonation rising to the top.
Smell: Not super strong. Very slight alcohol, maltiness with a hint of
Flavor: Somewhat malty-sweet. Maybe very slightly burnt flavor, aftertaste has some hop bitterness fading after a few seconds. Then, leaving a slightly sweet flavor in your mouth. Somewhat dry, with a slight grassy/leavy aftertaste as well. Mouth feel was moderate. Not nearly as bitter as most American ales, but the bitterness is still pleasently there.
Very good drinkability, this is my fourth out of a six-pack, and I've enjoyed them all. Quite yummy.
